Karl Anthony Towns will definitely win the rookie of the year award. The only rookie that may take that spot is Kristaps Porzingis as he has also shown glimpses of greatness, but is very inconsistent in his play. Towns however, is a very consistent player and a more complete player. Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns has also shown that he is a capable nominee too, but only started to show up in the second half of the season.
Karl-Anthony Towns averaged 18.3 points and 10.5 rebounds while shooting 54.3% overall. He also played all 82 games of the regular season.
